A website that does something, for your customers or for you.
Every package is a website built by hand. Custom development makes it do work too: a tool your customers use, or an admin area you use. I build these around how your business actually works, rather than dropping in an off-the-shelf plug-in.
The plain websites, one page or five, are on the website development page.
A tool your customers use
Instead of an inquiry that says “please call me”, someone can get a price for their job, pick a service and book a time, or answer a few questions so you already know what they need before you ring them back. That is Growth: five pages, plus one tool built around how you quote or take bookings.
Typical choices for the one tool
- A quote calculator — they pick options and see a price
- A booking form — they pick a service and a time
- A multi-step inquiry that asks the right questions first
- A service selector that narrows down what they need
Quoted separately
- Two of the above rather than one
- Anything that takes payment
- Connecting to software you already use
- Anywhere your customers log in
An admin area you use
A private area you log into. You edit your own pages and update your services and prices without emailing me for a text change, and inquiries are emailed to you as they arrive. That is Business: five pages, plus the area you run them from.
What you can do in it
- Edit your page text and images
- Add, change and remove your services and prices
- One secure login for you
- Inquiries emailed to you as they arrive
Quoted separately
- Inquiry history stored and searchable in your admin area
- Logins for your customers
- Dashboards, charts and reports
- A customer-facing tool such as a quote calculator
Customer logins, staff accounts and roles, stored business records, scheduling or document handling make it a custom application rather than a website. That is a separate piece of work, scoped from a written specification.
Bookings, on your own website
For tour, charter and rental operators: take bookings on your own website, with no fee added to your customers' checkout and no cut of any booking.
What a tool needs behind it
Anything the site has to remember over time, such as bookings or orders, also needs Managed Database Infrastructure on top. It is a monthly line, priced on the pricing page. Each package page says when it applies.
To see these running rather than described, the live demos are working examples.
