About

One person builds your site, and that person is me.

I'm Drew Palframan. I moved to Ucluelet from Vancouver in 2013 and worked at the Ucluelet co-op from 2014 to 2023. After that I studied early childhood education and behaviour intervention, and now I build websites.

I work with businesses on Vancouver Island, across BC and well outside it. I take on a limited number at a time, so when your busy season changes what you need, you talk to the person who built your site instead of filing a ticket.

How I work

Four stages, the same for every build. The long version is on the blog.

  1. Discover

A kickoff call to understand your business and scope what your site needs to do, with a realistic timeline before any work begins.

  2. Build

Designed and hand-coded around your business, with you reviewing progress and signing off before launch.

  3. Launch

Deployed with SSL, DNS and uptime monitoring set up and kept running as one hosting plan. The domain renews separately, at the registrar's price.

  4. Grow

As your business changes, the same person who built the site changes it with you. Bigger systems are scoped separately.

Where I live and work

My own photos, from around the Island. The towns I build for and every photo have pages of their own.

Some of what I’ve built

Live client sites. Every case study says what the business needed and what I built.
